What makes news “good” to you? What good news are you most longing to hear? Who needs to tell of such news for you to believe it is true? When is news too good to be true? Join us this Advent season as we hear the good news proclaimed by prophets, preachers, and angels before pondering how we might receive and respond to their much-needed promises for deliverance, peace, and transformation.

This Sunday, the prophet Isaiah paints an extraordinary picture of a world that sounds too good to be true. Such a world, an upside-down kingdom, continues to be described today by prophets who believe Jesus was and is the light that is the life of all people. How might we hear their message and work to make it a reality today?
