You are always welcome here! Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church is located in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 9th Street (NW) and is just steps from the the New Convention Center, and blocks from the National Mall, the Smithsonian, the Verizon Center, and Chinatown. The church is easily accessible by metro at Metro Center, Mt. Vernon, and Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stations. Limited parking may be found along Massachusetts Avenue and K Streets. Individuals coming to worship may also park beneath the new building attached to the church. Access to this garage is available off of 10th Street. Once you enter the garage, please take a parking ticket from the machine, drive your car to the B3 or B4 level and park, take the elevator up to the 1R level, turn right, ring bell next to glass doors and enter. Please bring your parking ticket into the church with you so that it might be validated. Validated tickets enable anyone attending worship to not have to pay for parking. Phone: (202) 347-9620 |
